Waterford for Display only and Not Use

We purchased a Waterford Vase for our newlywed Son and Daughter In-Law. The Vase was defective and developed a chip in a few months. While Waterford offers their customers in Australia a one year replacement warranty, there is NO warranty in the US. Their response to us was essentially that products are only suitable for display, not use. Buyers beware that the brand hype is strictly around appearance, not serviceability. While Waterford unfortunately does NOT demonstrate integrity, we do demonstrate integrity and purchased another brand product as replacement for our Son and Daughter in-law.
