Disgrace Not what one would expect from Waterford

Frame came in an over-sized, damaged Waterford box. Frame was wrapped in bubble wrap, then wrinkled Waterford signature tissue paper. Disgrace! This was a gift! I went back to Macy's and the sales associate searched stockroom and returned with frames in similar condition. I wrote to Waterford and they stated it was Macy's presentation; Waterford would never sell in such a condition. I had no choice but to give it as a gift, thank goodness it was my daughter. While she is poised and would never be offensive, she did think it was a regift,or worse, purchased at a yard sale. Disappointed beyond words.

Beautiful but flawed

I ordered two 4x6 Lismore picture frames from Macys.com. I opened the box of the first frame and it was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, there was a bubble in the crystal. The bubble is not in the corner of the frame, or on the side, but near the middle. It is extremely noticeable and really detracts from the picture. I opened the box which contained the second frame...it also had a noticeable bubble where the picture should be placed. Since the second frame was intended as a gift, it has to be returned. I would suggest purchasing the frame, but only if you can do so in person. If you can inspect the frame in person you will be able to avoid any disappointment (arising from quality control issues) as well as the inconvenience of a return.
