Nice that it was a duet
I liked that both books in the duet were included in this set so that I could continue reading seamlessly and wasn't left with a cliffhanger. It was sexy and suspenseful, with an interesting premise. There was however quite a bit of inner dialogue which at times made the story drag along. Nick and Faith were both wounded and in need of love and healing. I am afraid I became a little annoyed with Faith and would have liked to see more character development from her. There were secrets and plenty of angst and I'd say this was more of a dark romance. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

This couple are fire together!
This was filled with relationship angst that had me on the edge most of the book. While I’m not a fan of secrets between the hero and heroine, the fact that it was obvious how this couple felt about each other helped to ease the way for me. Nick and Faith were FIRE together! Their chemistry was off the charts and the suspense that ran throughout the story made this an intense read on every level. Their inner thoughts did take precedence at times when I was ready for things to move on. I loved the inclusion of the Inside Out characters. Seeing my favorites was a real treat, especially when their presence added to the storyline rather than taking it over. Overall, a great read and an excellent addition to the Inside Out world.

Totally recommend
Some moments in life are more dangerous and more seductive than others. For attorney Nick Rogers, that moment happens the second he walks into Faith Winter's winery and lays eyes on her. Confidence, beauty, and inscrutable vulnerability. Provocative. But Nick knows at least one of Faith's secrets one of what he suspects is many... But Nick has a secret of his own: he already knows who she is. He's only playing the role of a stranger, just enough to get to know her, to find out if Faith truly is the one who hurt his family. Hurt him. But Nick's facade was only supposed to be on the surface. And now that he's touched her, he wants her. And wanting her means he has to have her. Now lust and love are battling for Nick's soul, even as he lures Faith deeper. Into his life. Into his heart. He could lose everything. But soon the lies will be exposed and the truth revealed. Because where the white lies end...obsession begins. Wow totally gripping I totally enjoyed this book totally recommend Thank You NetGalley and Entangled Publishing LLC I just reviewed White Lies by Lisa Renee Jones. #WhiteLies #NetGalley

WOW... Where is my Nick?
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you Entangled Publishing and Net Galley. I really enjoyed reading this double novel. I did not realize that it was 2 books until I saw that it was almost 600 pages. The first 40% of the book I found boring, but it certainly picked up after. The story line was a mystery and the sexual descriptions were vivid. Don't miss reading this book and look for your own Nick. This was my first by Lisa Renee Jones, but it certainly will not be my last.
