Poor workmanship and inadequate packaging

We have many Pfaltzgraff Winterberry pieces that are beautiful and well crafted, so we ordered this Lazy Susan to add to our collection. It arrived in a crushed generic cardboard box and was just wrapped in heavy paper inside. It was not in a Winterberry box like all other pieces we have and the size and weight of it requires much better packaging. The wood was cracked down the side in two places and the workmanship where the winterberry patterned bottom met the sides of the unit was distorted, sloppy and inconsistent. Since we never had problems before with the winterberry products, we had not read any reviews for this piece before purchasing, but after receiving it in this condition, we went back and saw several reviews with these same problems going back several years. Not sure why Pfaltzgraff would continue to sell this product without fixing these issues. It’s a blemish on the whole collection.

Broken Lazy Susan

Item arrived broken. I reordered it, and the 2nd one came broken as well. Very poor packaging for shipping. After returning both in person to a Macy's store, I found that no store in there area had one in stocks and the item was no longer available online. Big disappointment for our Winterberry collection.

Winterberry Whitewash Lazy Susan

Received the product twice. Both times, the item was damaged. The wood was cracked as well as the last one the entire plate and wood were cracked.
