Cut sweater but not worth the price

The sweater is cute but it pills horribly. The moment you wear it, it will shed tiny wool balls everywhere to the point where the car seat and belt were covered in it. Also, I washed it in a mesh bag in a gentle cycle and the wool still unraveled in numerous places. For such an expensive sweater, the quality is questionable.
