LONG! For 6 foot tall women

I typically wear 14/16. Purchased the 1x earlier this year, and they were too loose. The XL fits perfectly, but the regular size length is much, much longer than the plus size. I’m 5’9” and these are 3-5” too long on me. I typically wear flats, or max 2” heel, so I would have to hem them, which would cut off the cute flare at the bottom. I guess I’ll return… haven’t made up my mind. I do love the fabric.
