Dont buy it- third party from the Dessy Group

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered two sizes of the same dress (Small and Medium) on 9/10, planning to keep one. I decided to keep the Medium and returned the Small in-store on 9/12, just two days later. I never even tried on the Small, yet Macy’s claimed the dress was “damaged” and refused my refund. It’s very upsetting to be held responsible for damage I did not cause. Given how quickly I returned it, I strongly believe the damage could have occurred before it reached me or during store handling. Instead of standing behind their customers, Macy’s denied my refund without fair consideration. I’ve always trusted Macy’s, but this experience has left me frustrated and questioning whether I can continue shopping here.
