Women's Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver

I received what I thought & was assured by a Macy’s Customer Web Service Rep a pair of Amethyst drop earnings that were supposed to be set in “Sterling Silver” & instead were set in yellow gold. I first purchased a matching necklace from Macy’s which is set in Sterling Silver. The description on Macy’s website said the earnings were Sterling Silver but the picture showed them in yellow gold & there was no options given for the metal the amethyst stone were set in. I spoke with a Macy’s Custer service rep via web chat & informed that I had purchased the matching necklace & hesitated on or ding the earnings because they appear to be set in yellow gold from the photo. The rep checked the add & she assured me the earning were set in Sterling Sterling & that I should be confident in placing my order for them. As I was afraid of, they were delivered & are set in yellow gold which does me no good. The earnings are beautiful but won’t match the necklace & will need to be returned.

Arrived dirty and dull
Ordering another pair. When they arrived, the stones looked rather dull. I wondered if it was a poor quality stone or a bad cut of the stone. Definitely nothing like the sparkly stones in the picture. When I held them under a light, they are greasy dirty. Dang. They’re going back.
Beautiful color
Got those earring to match my necklace. They are verdecitos together I’m so happy and I get so many compliments.

Exactly as pictured
These are a substantial size and the color is exactly as pictured. Not sure about the other review saying the color is too light.

Is not good at all
I received earrings without a tag. I don't know is it a real stone or lab created. Also, a color of stone is not bright as was describe on the Web site. I will return it.
