Pretty but fit is not good

I love the dress, I ordered a 10 and it is too big. The fabric is stretchy and it does not fit correctly under the arms and breast area. I wear a 10 normally so I reordered in an 8 to see if that works. I like the dress and I don’t want to have to pay to get it altered. It is too long but maybe the 8 will work better.
