WANTED TO LOVE IT, BUT RETURNING THE DRESS

THE DRESS'S 3/4 SLEEVES, V-NECK, NAVY COLOR, AND FULL LENGTH WERE EXACTLY WHAT I WAS SHOPPING FOR TO USE AS A MOTHER OF THE BRIDE DRESS. I WANTED TO LOVE IT. BUT WHEN IT ARRIVED, THE SIZING FELT AT LEAST A SIZE OR TWO SMALLER THAN ITS SIZE. THE WEIGHT OF THE DRESS FELT TOO LIGHTWEIGHT TO ME, MORE LIKE A HEAVY NIGHTGOWN THAN A DRESS FOR A FORMAL OCCASSION.

A night gown and a ball gown are different

Did not feel or look like a formal dress one received. Looked and felt more like night gown. Was tighter on top, which never happens for me since I’m pear shaped. I normally buy up for my hips and usually the top needs to be taken in. Very unflattering dress shape and was not like their other a-line dresses. All around a big disappointment that made me feel horrible about my body. Save yourself the cry and order from someone else. Kitiona is great with casual dresses for larger women, but I think they assume like many other brands that larger women don’t deserve have nice looking formal wear and will be perfectly happy wearing burlap sack. Don’t put up with that treatment.

Perfect Dress

I purchased this dress for my son’s wedding and it was perfect. It’s light, has pockets, flows well, and very comfortable. I did not feel like I was wearing a formal dress all night.

You will NOT regret this purchase !!

This dress has been through it all!! Great investment!! I wore this for my undergrad and Masters graduation, then I popped on a tulle skirt and was married in it for my Halloween wedding!! Just perfect !
