Don’t waste your money.

Many areas where the coating is either cracked or coming off the wires. Doubtful on how long this will last.

My Son Loves The Robosapien Blue

I bought this robot for my son's birthday. He was super excited for to receive the robot as a gift. I was dissapointed, after all the work I spent unpacking it, because the blue tubbing covering the wires were deteriorated. I recommend, if anyone plans on purchasing this toy, get some electrical tape to patch up the wires. This item is not returnable so beware. Other than that issue, it takes 4D batteries for the robot and 3AAA for the remote. It is fun for my son. He didn't mind the patchup work I had to do. I recommend it for the discount price.

Low quality

I wish I could return it but unfortunately my child likes it and I don’t want to hurt his feelings! All the wire are broken and peeled off just after one day: see the picture below

Excellent Toy

I purchased this toy for my son back in 2009, and it’s still going strong! I decided to get one for my daughter’s son(my son is holding on to his for his children), and he absolutely adores it. The wires have never caused any problems, and the remote is kid-friendly. It’s built to last and has withstood the test of time, so I’m confident my grandson will enjoy his for many more years. Additionally, we got the dinosaur for my son in 2010, and while the tail did break, the company addressed the issue and made the tail much more durable than the original. Naturally, we got one for my grandson too!

bad toy

As a Christmas gift for children, it needs 4 very large batteries. Because it was not prepared in advance, the robot was not played with yesterday on Christmas Day. My kid took it out today to play with it. However, the outer skin of the robot's wires broke and fell off, exposing the wires inside. The quality is very disappointing.
