The dress fit very well. I am going to a New Year Eve / Wedding in Florida and it is a Black Tie dress code. Therefore, this dress fit the bill. The straight look complemented my figure along with the shear layering. It gave me a slim look. I love that since I lost 25 pounds. I did not want a sleeveless or a long sleeve dress. But this sleeve was perfect along with a little shimmer on top. I love this dress. Perfect choice for me.

I bought this dress for an event in late May. It is a beautiful dress and lightweight. I was afraid after I ordered it that I'd have an issue with wearing a bra or finding one that wouldn't show through the sheerness on the top. To my amazement I don't even need to wear one with the construction of the bust area on this dress. I'm 38D too! I'm 5'7" 190 pounds and bought a size 12 and it fits perfectly. I carry my weight in my tummy and chest area and how it drapes in the front and comes across the tummy and the ruching in the back is flattering and softens the not so flattering parts.
