This dress hugs the curves you want to emphasize!
I am 5'3" and needed to have the dress hemmed, but that was not a bad nor unexpected thing. The raw edge hem started to unravel before I took it to be hemmed, so it was easy enough for them to finish the edge. But it is so flattering! The ruching really doesn't show up in the pictures, but it really makes this dress gorgeous!
Perfect Dress for Daughter’s Wedding
I actually had another dress picked out and altered to wear as a mother of the bride dress. I saw this dress just before our trip for the destination wedding and ordered it. The bridesmaids voted for me to wear this dress instead of my other one. This dress fit me and my curves perfectly and was so comfortable! I received compliments all night long! I highly recommend this beautiful dress.

Gorgeous, flattering dress!
Very flattering! Love this dress! The ruching is all in the right places which is hard to see on your computer monitor. The ruffled neckline is so feminine and pretty! I actually returned this dress, because as much as I loved it, ultimately it's too formal for the occasion (a wedding). If it was a black-tie wedding this would be perfect! But this is a cocktail attire wedding, and I think I would be the only one in a long gown. Alas.

Better for tall people?
I read the reviews and was excited to try this dress for an upcoming formal gala. I am 5’4” and I felt like the ruffles at the neck just swallowed me up. It was tight in the hips but instead of flattering I felt like it accentuated all of the wrong places for me. I would have needed to have several inches cut off the bottom (not unusual). This dress seems perfect for a tall thin woman with no real curves bc it will make them look like they have a shape and bust.

Celebrity Gown
Love this dress . Nice quality but too heavy for a summer wedding and too long . If it was a wedding in the fall or winter I would most definitely would have had the length altered .
