Much Smaller Than Expected

I have always purchased medium size pants from Macys. This pants , which is supposed to be a men’s medium is so small, I barely got into it & could not button because it’s too tight. I bought 2 other pants along with this one & they both medium & both fit. Never had this issue before with my Macys purchases. Now they’re saying it’s out of stock so I can’t exchange for a larger size. Otherwise, pants look great. It says made in China, maybe that’s the reason they are made so small
