Back in the 80's, I would receive a bottle of Opium perfume for the holidays. I stopped wearing it for a while, but recently wanted to purchase a bottle. I'm sad that you no longer make this scent in its original form. I did try the alcohol based product, but it wasn't even close to the original. Would you consider bringing this unusual and wonderful scent back? It's the only perfume I will wear.

The quality of the product is excellent for my oily skin. applyit for area for testing before you actually use it.

I've worn this wonderful scent for so many years and I would just be sick if you discontinued it! I just ordered a nice big bottle online! I don't like the one in the black bottle. I will never buy it. I miss going into upscale stores around Christmas time and getting boxes of cologne and body lotion. When you wear Original Opium it stays on your clothes! Everyone remembers that you wear it! Don't be foolish and take it away from those of us that just love it! Please! Thankyou!

This is my favorite perfume!!!! I heard they were going to discontinue it! Please, please do not discontinue it! I get so many compliments when I am wearing Opium the original scent. It is not overpowering and smells delicious!

I’ve worn this scent since the early 1980s. I was disappointed that Yves Saint Laurent discontinued the parfum. I was happy that I was able to get several bottles from Macy’s.

There is no other scent like the original Opium, and it has been my scent for years. I always get compliments when I wear it. Unfortunately they no longer make their accompanying cream, powder, nor shower gel. YSL should be promoting it instead of introducing others that will fall short. To me, and all the other women that love its scent, no other comes close. Opium should be YSLs signature like Channel’s Coco and #5.
