What has happened to No.59 Melon d'or?...is it coming back?

I have been using this lipstick-Melon D’or-for about 20 years and it is amazing. There was nothing on the market to compare with the texture, or colours-and now it is discontinued. Harrods tell me they have had hundreds of requests for this lipstick, as the new ones are just not the same. Very sad.

Fabulous lipstick and I’ve tried them all!

Back to the old favourite nothing can live up to YSL rouge couture lipstick, I’ve spent a fortune on other high end brands but now sticking with the one that delivers! Great coverage, lips feel smooth and moisturised and colour lasts, lovely elegant classic shades to choose from.

Beautiful lipstick

The colour is beautiful and sophisticated with a good finish. I would recommend this as more of an event lipstick as it easily comes off after eating but nonetheless it’s a very nice product.

Melon d’or no 59 has lost its gold shimmer ???

I am so disappointed my friends and I have used this colour for yrs . Then all of a sudden for some reason ysl have not put the gold sheen into the lipstick any more I wonder who else has noticed this I have spoken to the assistants in the shops and they all agreed it has definitely changed and not for the better Please bring back the original

Iconic

This lipstick is iconic. My favourite for many years. From nudes to reds shades for every skin tone. Soft, satin finish moisturise the lips and give them 'that' perfect look.

Gorgeous colour

My usual lipstick colours 205 and 206 have been discontinued so I was worried that I would not be able to find a colour to suit me. I was pleasantly surprised to find Rouge vinyle and it looks really good on.Relieved!
