Way to cut

The Zwilling knife 15 set available at Macy's was well worth it and the best price around. Zwilling is known for it's high quality. I waited for 6 months to find the best price and Macy's delivered! Thank you Macy's for the great price point.

Missing parts I thought it would be everything. 5 things are missing so I have to buy them separately, it was kind of disappointing.

Warning - More slots than knives!

The wooden block has spots for 21 items, but the set only contains 15 items by design. So you have 6 empty slots and it looks ridiculous. The box should clearly state that you will have empty slots. If you were to fill the slots you would need to find the same type of knives that fit the slots. That would not be practical. One option is to keep the knives and toss the wooden block.

Not the same old Zwilling twin

Zwilling has done downhill. Quality of cut and ergonomics can’t be matched to that of my original set. I’ve tried a dozen new twins and find that they just don’t compare to the ones I got 25 years ago. Also don’t fall for their review promo. The free gift is *always* out of stock and if you ask about it, they will send you a nominal bounce back coupon (anyone with Google can beat it). I don’t care about the gift, but it feels like that says a lot about the company.

Piece is missing

beautiful set and I love the Zwilling brand, but the item was not complete. There were five empty spaces in the block, with no knives included to fill them. I learned that you need to purchase the knives separately to complete the block set. It’s quite embarrassing to give it as a gift and have the recipient point out the missing pieces.

Only buy if Lowest Price of the Year

Had all the knives but steak knives missing, had to return it to the store and get another set. The knives themselves seem to be okay, but nothing spectacular. The block has more slots than knives in what seems to be a cynical attempt to get you to make more knife purchases in the future, so if you are at all OCD, buy something else. I likely won’t be buying anything from Zwilling again, unless I have no other choice.
