The present formula was originally created for the medical market to give patients with bumpy or irregular skin a smoother skin surface. This product lays down a smoother layer of "second skin" that smoothes out skin irregularities and fine lines. The present is essentially a "clear makeup" for flawless skin. It is formulated to be used as a last step prior to any makeup to form an invisible barrier that "seals in" moisture for chronically dry skin and active ingredients from treatment products. It keeps out harmful environmental elements by acting like an invisible band-aid. It also contains lysozyme, a natural antimicrobial agent to keep skin radiantly "clear."

The BEST primer

Anything by Philosophy is a 10/10 in my books. hands down the BEST primer for makeup. Leave a beautiful, glowy, healthy finish. I have normal to dry skin and this sits amazing under my makeup. Makes makeup look professional.

Good Primer

This primer was long lasting and it did keep my skin matte throughout the day. My makeup went on nicely overtop however be careful about the amount you use. If you use too much it feels tacky almost like childrens glue or something.

This primer does not

This primer does not get the praise it deserves. If you do it correctly is works perfectly. It grips the make up and make up doesn't move after. I didn't ever use a setting spray with it, I didn't need it at all. The smell is actually really fresh and nice, some kind of essential oil smell, cant put my finger on it

I USED THIS YEARS AGO JUST TO SMOOTH OUT MY SKIN WHEN I DIDN'T USE MAKE UP. NOW I UASE AND FIND IT A GREAT PRIMER. I'D NOT IMPROVE IT UNLESS YOU COULD MAKE MY PORES GO COMPLETELY. ITS VERY EASY TO APPLY AND ONLY TAKES A PEA SIZE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR ALL SKIN, EVEN FOR THE GUYS TO SMOOTH OUT YOUR PORES.
