The bedding that is used in a bedroom often sets the mood for the entire room. Using floral bedding is no exception. For a cheery and fresh look, this type of bedding can give a bedroom a new and inviting look that is eye-catching as well.
Floral bedding can be found from a variety of fashion designers that put their own unique style and spin to the designs they introduce. Style&co., Martha Stewart, Tommy Bahama and Lauren by Ralph Lauren are just a few of the many clothing designers that put out fresh and inviting collections of bedding. Bright floral designs are available, as well as more muted styles that are of neutral colors.
Equally at home in a shared bedroom as well as a solo woman's bedroom, floral bedding is not just for women. Find solid color comforters, pillow shams, duvets and more, that use flowers and floral patterns, in more subtle ways to make an inviting bed to sleep in each night. Add a few throw pillows to complement the colors in the bedding for a complete bedroom look.
While it is possible to purchase many of the bedding sets as individual pieces, buying an entire set allows the bedroom to be easily decorated in a stylish way that pulls the room together. By purchasing bedding that follows the theme of the room, such as flowers or the ocean, the duvet can become the focal point and draw the eye to the other decorations that accentuate the theme throughout the room.
Adding a few throw pillows, either to the bed itself or to a chair or love seat in the bedroom, can help pull the look of the bedroom together. For a more subtle floral pattern on the bedding, look for brightly colored pillows that easily offer a contrast to the bedding.
