Very pretty

This is a very pretty nice size stone. The color I would classify as medium purple tanzanite family. Tanzanite can be very light in color to very deep purple almost blue. The coloring on this stone lies in the middle, not deep purple blue, but not light. It is a deep medium purple. A very pretty color, nice size stone. The drop on the necklace is perfect for a scoop neck blouse or turtle neck. The necklace has a nice shine.

terrible tanzanite

a very light color not the dark tanzanite that I would expect. very skimpy one star necklace or less.

Unhappy

I returned it because the on-line color was actually blue, as opposed to the very light purple very disappointing received. The deeper the blue the more expensive. So i didn't expect a rich blue, i just expected the light, very definitely blue, stone as represented.
