Sound Quality Isn't Good

The DVD does work (the CD has to face away from you, in order to play when inserted into player) and so does the motherboard (the area where you can plug your cables for gaming or antennas) I'm able to plug my playstation using the HDMI port. The sound is so far the only thing that is awful with this TV, the speakers are underneath the tv and just have no quality of sound. Sounds...cheap. There is no surround or bass sound to it. Sound is not really a big thing for me but it's really noticeable when you turn on the tv.

Hard to setup

The unit is difficult to set up. The settings for audio and adding ext speakers are nonexistent. You could get better sound from a tin can. The DVD does work very well, and the picture is great. Personally, I will keep this one, but I will not buy another one.

Good and Bad

The size, picture and having a DVD is great for the kitchen. The only really issue are the speakers, and sound is very important. I bought 3 TVs at the same time. Only this one from Macy's. I bought a Supersonic 13.3" for the laundry room, a TuTu 22" for the guest room and the Westinghouse 24" with DVD. They are all comparable for picture and quality except for sound. The two smaller ones have excellent sound, actually impressive sound. The Westinghouse TV has the worst sound I have ever heard in any TV. I think they have placed the speakers in tin cans and installed them in the TV. Incredibly tinny with NO possible way to adjust them. I am going to get a set of small computer speakers and use the headphone plug to run them. I believe this should work. If not, I'll have to think of something else or return the TV.
