Great price for the pair

Great set of lamps for the price point..probably a little tall for my night stands but I love them. Wish they accepted a 3 way bulb.

Lamps Awesome - Open box not as much

First of all 3 star rating is not because the lamps aren't as pictured or described. They are strikingingly noticeable and stand out as accent pieces which are eye catching. When illuminated with a 150 watt LED and the white shade instead of a 100 watt LED the room appears to be twice as bright and the lamp looks even more striking. The design and functionality of the lamps deserve a 5 star rating. So then why the 3 star rating? I made the mistake of buying open box. Thought why not try to save the $30 which after paying for shipping was reduced to $17? When unpacked all components and set the shades on noticed one shade on the bottom was not flat and concave and bent inwards. The repackaging had several small pieces of broken styrofoam instead of single sheet protection and the one cord was jammed underneath the shade so that caused the bottom of the shade to be bent. So even though open box item pricing may look appealing and if anything can be damaged then the net savings may not be worth it.
