The Defender large outdoor ceiling fan from Possini Euro Design is rated for use in damp or indoor locations. It comes in a matte black finish motor and eight matte black finish ABS blades with a 60-inch blade span. A handheld remote control is included for operation.

Stopped working properly

We purchased 2 of these for our outdoor covered patio less than 2 years ago. Both have stopped working properly. They make popping sounds when they start trying to turn.

Don't buy

Purchased two about a year ago. They do not push a lot of air and one quit working 11 months after install. They are pretty but not much difference between level 1 and level 6 for output. The 6 levels could easily be three, but I'm guessing 6 speeds sell better. And yes they're spinning in the right direction. We've had to but oscillating floor fans to really push the air. You get what you pay for!
