A little red kettle that makes me happy

Love the design of this electric kettle, and the brilliant red color. It makes me smile every time I look at it. It is very easy to operate and heats water quickly. I like that you can see the temperature on the monitor, and stop the heating at the drinking temperature you like. There is one drawback that may be exclusive to me and the wiring in my kitchen. The first couple of times I used it, it tripped a breaker. I tested it in a room that has no other appliances in it, and it did not trip the breaker. So I ordered a surge protector, and I'm hoping I can get by using it. Paying an electrician to put in a new breaker and wiring seems excessive expense to use a relatively inexpensive electric kettle. The electrical problem is why I gave the kettle 4 stars instead of 5.

faulty kettle

I was so excited for this kettle. The switch was broken….literally came off in my hand the first time I turned it on. Very disappointed.

Beautiful Kettle

I was looking to replace my 10 year old kettle. After living in the UK a kettle is one appliance that I can't live without. This arrived in about a week and was beautiful out of the box. I love the red. The temperature gage shows how hot the water is. Boiling to 212 degrees which is perfect for brewing tea. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Love it!

Quality is good. Love the taupe color and the retro vibe adds just the right amount of subtle character. I love that it's boils enough water to cook a pot of pasta without spending 10 minutes waiting for water to boil on the stove.
