Great fit for Weber charcoal grill

Good Overall

This is certainly a well made and I think good looking product. The only issue I have with it is the texture of the surface. I was expecting a smooth seasoned finish. I understand it's almost sandpaper-like to make it more non-stick, but it doesn't really work and it's really difficult to wipe clean or wipe with oil after use. It catches the strands of any fabric or paper towel I've used. It might get more smooth over time as it gets more seasoned.

Professional results at home

Love this griddle! It heats up quickly (I use it on an induction stovetop! you can keep it at 2 or 3 max) and fits perfectly over two burners, or just the big one, keeping a portion outside the burner to create 2 different heat temperatures. I've used it for everything from smash burgers to sautéing vegetables, and the cleanup is a breeze. High quality, durable (feels like it will last a lifetime), and looks great on the range. Can't wait to try it outside this spring on the firepit! Highly recommend!

Pretty sizable griddle. Works great for big family cooking! Excellent quality, it’s my first carbon steel it maintains excellent heat throughout the surface. The handles are clutch.

Domed cooking surface

We really don't want to hate this, but we do. It's domed in the center, which I'm sure is intended for some kind of heat distribution, but it just means that anything slippery (I'm lookin at you, eggs) slide toward the edges. We were hoping for some kind of all-purpose griddle, and this is just NOT that. Also didn't realize that this carbon steel griddle is more akin to cast iron...which we have enough of already, but at least those ones aren't domed in the middle.

Preferred over cast iron

I've come to prefer the carbon steel griddle over my cast iron one. It is great on the grill, in the oven, or even on the stovetop. Lightweight, easy to use, and easy to clean - I highly recommend both this round griddle and Made In's rectangular griddle.

Your Grill has a mate.

Perfect weight and thickness. Seasoned it a little more and great performance. Using it in my Big Green Egg XL. Due to its excellent heat conduction, it could be used on a larger stove top, but seems best suited for your larger grill. Much larger cooking area than the rectangular griddle. An excellent Made In product as usual. It is worth the cost.
