I have been a lifelong purchaser of this product. The updated formula is horrible. Both my husband and my eyes were burning after applying, and the smell is really off. We had to stop using. I wish they would inform loyal customers of re-formulations versus having us learn by a bad reaction. SO DISAPPOINTING that we need to find some other brand to use now. So much for being a life-long customer.

Ruined it
It must be like a biblical prophecy that a company ruins a product with a formulation change at some point. Has private equity bought you guys out or something lol. Genuinely infuriating to have to look for a different product when I’ve been using this for as long as I can remember. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it guys.

New Formula destroyed the product
I recently purchased the Double Duty Face Moisturizer and was disappointed to see that JB changed the formula. This is a big miss, and I hope they bring back the old formula.

What were you THINKING?
Another 10-plus-year user of this product joining the chorus of negative reviews—I don't mind the smell of the new formula so much as the taste, which somehow manages to creep into my mouth no matter how studiously I avoid my lips (which I never had to do with the old formula). I'm actually impressed at how quickly and thoroughly they managed to destroy this product—there's a clear shift ~5 months ago from almost entirely 5-star reviews to exclusively 1-star, mostly from the most loyal customers. I mean did they do any testing at all? Or were the cost savings just worth the implosion in quality? Wild to see play out in real-time.

New formula is TERRIBLE
I've been using this product for years, and just bought a new (large) bottle because I use it every day and didn't want to run out. What a mistake! The smell is totally different, and very unpleasant and chemical. My eyes immediately started burning and watering after I put it on, which has never happened before. I thought it must have been a bad bottle, until I checked the back and realized that the formula had been changed without any warning. I didn't think to check reviews because of my history with the product, but now I wish I had. What a waste of money - time to find a new moisturizer, sadly.

Bad change of formula
I have been using this product for over a decade and they recently changed the formula, consistency is different and the lotion now smells chemically. Skin feel is totally different. Will be finding an alternative unless they go back to the original formula.
