Missing a screw

I bought this in cyber Monday deal.. I decided to use it just recently when I found that the handle isn’t stable due to a missing screw! It looks good and has a shiny top with a red and green indicator lights. Just upset that Macy’s don’t accept returns after a month of purchase.

Cannot be temperature controlled

There is no setting to reduce or increase the heat level, resulting in a sandwich that is cooked from outside, but the vegetables and cheese inside remain as is. I would return the item, but cannot. I would absolutely not recommend it

Why such poor shipping packaging?

I haven't had a chance to test the machine yet, but it was shipped in just the item box - it wasn't shipped in a box with additional padding. The box for the actual press is torn and damaged. Am hoping for the best, as it's a Christmas gift for a family member.

Very disappointed to receive the box damaged. The box should have been put into another cardboard box and shipped to prevent damage as the item is shipped. How can this be given as a bridal shower gift? Unacceptable. When I called customer service, they said I can take it to a nearby Macy’s to exchange. She said they had it in stock. Another disappointing experience. When I went to Macy’s department store to exchange the panini press, they said they didn’t have any in this store or in other nearby Macy’s stores. Unacceptable for customer service to give false information.
