An essential addition to your workspace, the Oliver AdessoCharge Task Shelf Floor Lamp includes a wireless charging pad with Qi inductive charging technology. A matte black finish is mixed with walnut wood for mid-century modern appeal. Adjust the shade to direct the light where it is needed. A 12.25" round shelf holds the wireless charging pad and can also be used for extra storage needs. Many smartphones (list below) have Qi technology built in, so just place your phone on the pad and it will charge right up. No cords, no mess. It's that easy! All AdessoCharge product is Qi certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. AdessoCharge is unique in that you can use the AdessoCharge pad, the USB and the light all at the same time with maximum efficiency of all three. An easily accessible rocker switch on the shelf turns the lamp on and off. Just plug in the lamp and the charger will work. This wireless charging pad will charge your phone through most materials, do you do not even need to remove your case! Only metal will hinder the function of the charging pad to charge through the case. If your smartphone doesn't support Qi wireless charging, you will need to purchase a Qi compatible case, which is sold through a variety of retail channels. Adesso Lamp

I love the lamp and I love the fact that you can charge your cell phone. I was disappointed that the lamp shade only moves side to side. It rotates one way and I was misguided since I thought the shade rotated in multiple direction. As I sent you photos comment you can see that the lamp shade goes outward when the reader is seated it's very hard the light directly on the readers location. It was very surprising because I thought it was just something I couldn't figure out. If I am incorrect please let me know.

Works great and charges fast

Bought a similar $50 lamp from Amazon and it didn’t work. This works amazing and is perfect for my nightstand. Wish it was a little bit taller as I have to stare at the bulb but that’s an easy fix.
