Top heavy, nothing good about it

Way too top heavy, kept falling over, I finally had to put the base in a closet, pile boxes on it, and close the door on it. It's too tall, the arc is too long, and the bulb is so high it nearly blinds me when I look toward it. Very unsatisfied, but I can't return it because the box and the styrofoam fell apart when I unpacked it.
