Just another lamp

The product was simple to put together, you just screw all the pieces together, and it's very very basic. As far as the quality of the product itself, the metal could very well be steel, however it looks just like many lamps on the market. We purchased two of these lamps, and within 10 minutes had them both set up and plugged in. The shade is pretty thick, and seems to be durable but more like a heavy plastic than anything. It does swivel, however, the quality of the swivel part itself (where the shade meets the lamppost) is quite chinsey and when I went to move the "adjustable" part, had to be careful not to bend it. Basically, in all reality, if these lamps had not been on sale, we would not have purchased them.
