a little too slim and small

I am a size 13/14 but lean on the 14 side, and I purchased these in a size 13. At first I was going to return but I decided to bite the bullet and see if they will stretch. I do have a friend who has these and she has told me that they will open up and stretch out if I keep wearing them.
