Tight, and too short

When I buy 3/4 they need to pass my knees. These don't. More like 2/3 or 1/2. In regards to fit, they're a very tight fit. In a 32" waist and I wear Medium in all brands when buying tracksuit bottoms, including Adidas. However these were like leggings on me. I could have tried large or even XL but because of the length issue, I didn't bother, simply returned.

Uncomfortable compared to the other 3/4 shorts

Uncomfortable compared to the other 3/4 shorts previously bought. There is an elastic strip at the back and the material clings to the body. These are not loose.
