What Happened to my Favorite Socks?!

I’ve been wearing these socks for years. Black, white and gray. I just ordered twelve pair of the black socks and they are thin,scratchy inside and barely any cushion. Did I get a bad batch or what? I want to order more in white and I fear to do so. After wearing these several hours, my feet are burning like fire. What did adidas do to my go to socks?!
