Runs short and small

This set sheds glitter terribly just trying it on. I normally wear a 2x but the shell for this didn’t even come to my waist leaving bare fat belly. 3x was a better fit but shell was still clingy. So disappointed! I have a long gown from Alex and love the look and quality I bought at Macy’s about 10 years ago. Looking for a grandma of the groom outfit. The gown is too heavy and hot for Labor Day wedding but looks beautiful on..bummer! The fabric for this set looks nice on the hanger but much less structure than expected. Do better, Alex! Bring back quality

Very pretty BUT...

This is a beautiful top. The reason it got only one star is the glitz falls off the blouse and jacket too easily leaving the glitz where ever you are, on the floor, chairs, all the surrounding areas, even on the tablecloths and food at the buffet table. Very Embarrassing.

Perfect for cocktail attire

Loved it, the fit was great and so pretty. The only downside was the glitter!! The one I tried on in the store on a different color did not have glitter.

Glitter Everywhere

The fit was perfect but it’s a glitter bomb. It says on the website to take it outside and shake off the glitter. No thank you. I prefer not to be embarrassed by leaving a glitter trail everywhere I go. I sent it back.
