Immediately upon removing from the box the unit was not broken. The placement holder would not tighten to stay into the container. The knob would not tighten nor loosen. I had a lot of trouble trying to get an exchange or even a return with the store, made several attempts. Eventually my sister was able to get my refund.
Does what it’s supposed to - with severe limitations
I’ve been cooking Sous vide for a few years now and this is my third “wand” (all three still in use). This one, while does what it’s supposed to, it has three major limitations for me. The timer does not start automatically when temperature is reached. WHY?!?!?! Second, the beeps are extremely quiet and unless I am in the kitchen and not have anything else running, I won’t hear it. While not important for many, lacks WiFi capabilities. The wand I use the most has WiFi so I could remote start it and get alerted when the cooking is done. If anything, adding WiFi to this will help with the low beep volume and maybe being able to remote start the timer. But, more than anything, update this so the timer starts automatically when temperature is reached.

Tastes like you’re eating something that was cooked in a plastic bag submerged in hot water for several hours.
Not well made
Falls completely apart right after the warranty is up…. I would definitely look for another brand that is built to last and higher quality.

Didnt last for the price
I bought this and had it for a couple years and it worked great the impeller quit working I tried calling All-Clad and there repair shops to see what it would take to get it fixed but have nto gotten any responses. Customer service has me concerned as I cant seem to reach anyone.

It just worked. Great! Made chuck roast 2 ways and results were great. Had it going 24 hours and 27 hours flawless.

Good but loud
I bought the All-Clad because it didn’t require an app or wifi connection to work. While it does the job, it is louder than I’d like it to be but I don’t have a comparison for sound of other popular sous vide machines. Was able to easily set up in a modified cooler to help reduce any evaporation and reduce heat loss, I liked the square style of item for ease of modifying my cooler. Incredibly intuitive interface. Fairly happy with product. I’ll use it for herbal infusions.
