Gourmet Chef at Heart

I'm in the process of updating a few of our favorite pans. I've had calphalon stainless steel and nonstick since we were married 20 years ago, but have been eyeing a few updates in the kitchen. I'm no longer buying anything nonstick, and feel like the calphalon is fine but I'd like better quality. The copper series from All Clad was raved over by several of my close friends, so I ordered two, plus a new waffle maker. I love cooking, and so far have made nearly everything possible (except a pot roast and spaghetti) in it since getting it about a month ago, inlacing eggs. It heats evenly and consistently, and cleans up beautifully, and I highly recommend it.

Love the copper core

I have quite a few pieces of the copper core that I have had around 12 years. I needed to replace an old nonstick (not all clad) skillet due to peeling etc. I love my copper core so much that I got it as the replacement. Now all of my cookware is the copper core except for two lecruset dutch ovens.

Great cookware!

This cookware has been a game changer for me. Perfect temperature control and also has a very stylish look. Only negative is it takes me quite a while to clean.

Not enough words to express how much I love anything All-Clad

I use this pan so much. It’s just perfect. I’m new to stainless steel cooking but the directions are key for a successful beginner. The reason I changed over is because we have been eating peeled-off teflon for too many years. I changed my cutting board to titanium and threw away the plastic and wooden ones.. I use a glass lid with my frying pan from an old set that fits it. Clean-up is amazing, hot water and a paper towel with dish soap does it. I do have the All-Clad stainless steel cleaner but rarely need to use it. My entire kitchen is either All-Clad or Kitchenaid (mixer). AND, I have been cooking new, Mediterrean recipes, spices from Mediterrean Dish, that are healthy and amazing. I chose to buy the 5-ply, copper pans. I can say that getting the 2 quart sauce pan has been impossible so far. I’m not sure why? Yes, I highly recommend!

Slightly mixed bag, mostly happy with it

We've only cooked on this maybe twice now, but are impressed overall. I first bought the very large/ largest copper core pan, and because we've loved that, I decided when I needed to replace a similar skillet (that had a non-stick type finish that was clearly pitted) with the same copper core from AllClad. My biggest complaint has to be the price, and the fact the set of 2 was not available when I did order this pan, otherwise I would have actually paid more to get the smaller skillet as well. There is a lot of "you get what you pay for" in these particular AllClad pans: 1. they are professional quality and essentially they will last a lifetime if properly hand-washed and maintained, 2. they are made in the USA, and any pans that aren't made in China (i.e. USA, Germany, France, or Italy) are quite expensive. The pans I am/need to

All-Clad Cleaning powder is awesome

If anyone struggles with cleaning your cookware: if anything should stick, cool your pan. Add warm water and place it on low to medium heat. This process will loosen anything stuck on and with a slight, low boil, most of it will lift. Pour out the hot water, do not add cold water; use warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth or non-scratch nylon sponge. Also, the All-Clad cleaning powder sprinkled on lightly, will do the trick.
