Buy it! You’ll love it!

I bought this pan a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. I paid close attention to a few of the negative reviews and cook foods at a slightly lower temp than my usual high. Copper core makes for even heat and plenty hot to sear meats. It does a great job cooking vegetables and everything else I’ve tried. Clean with Bar Keepers friend.

Not a good experience

I have had this pan for two months, and despite always preheating it before cooking (i.e. making sure those drops of water move across the pan like mercury), it is such a pain to clean. I never have issues with a solid foods getting stuck to the pan, but oils, spices, sauces, marinades, etc. etc just seem to get caked on in some spots more often than not. And I never go above medium heat. I'm usually between low and medium. Soap rarely gets this stuff off, and while Bar Keepers Friend (forming a paste of it) usually does the trick, it can take a lot of elbow grease. So for me, the amount of time spent cleaning this pan after nearly every use is not worth it. Maybe quality differs from pan to pan, and I got a dud.

Poor quality of Copper Core 5-ply Saute Pan with lid

Delamination and pitting. All-Clad doesn't accept returns for refund, but replacements under warranty which take forever....
