The Gourmet All-Clad Waffle Maker cooks 4 generous Belgian waffles at the same time. It features advanced heating technology for homogeneous browning; moreover, 6 levels of browning are possible. The steam release system prevents condensation buildup as waffles bake, for crispy outside and fluffy inside waffles. The ready-to-cook light signals when to add batter and the audible signal indicates when waffles are ready. The non-stick removable plates are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. Also included is an overflow batter tray that can be placed at the back of the cooking plate to avoid messes.

Quality waffle maker!

I've only used it twice, but so far, so good. It takes a lot of batter--my old belgian waffle maker was a deep, round one, but this maker in general is pretty big and I tripled the recipe to make several batches. I like the removable plates, and the quality feels sturdy. I'd say the locking mechanism is better just for vertical storage. I don't think it is meant for carrying around.

So far loving it

I’ve been using this for a few weeks to make large batches of gluten-free waffles for the freezer. Waffles are turning out consistent with great texture. Plates are easy to remove and wash.

Love at first waffle

Got tired of the Cuisinart breaking down every few years, so my priorities were: 1) simple design to minimize breakable components (didn't want the fancy digital display with various settings for different styles and types - we cook one kind of waffle with one type of batter) 2) industrial quality 3) removable plates for easy cleaning This model meets those needs, and we were thrilled to find out that the waffles were actually more delicious than what we've been eating for years! Something about the shape and consistency of the heating makes the texture particularly good. The whole family is very happy with it so far!

Solid and heavy and large

This was purchased to replace our round waffle maker that we had for many years but needed to replace as the Teflon material was flaking off this is much larger than I would like in size and weight. I wish the smaller round version was still available. That being said, this is a solid machine and makes perfect Belgian waffles to perfection.

Beware

Expensive for something that doesn’t work right. Bottom plates won’t lock on after 2 uses.
