Disappointed but pleased with the food processor

Was looking for a food processor when I found the Prep&Cook. I have tried three recipes, from the supplied recipe book, that were not very good. I like the concept but I will use my own recipes next time. As a food processor it's great.

Puzzling

I’ve used it once, got an error message. Haven’t tried troubleshooting yet. That’s this weekend.

Online instructions lacking

I was looking for instructions on how to disassemble and clean the apparatus on this website. there is nothing here that gives enough detail to clean the machine. I can’t recommend an appliance where this basic material is missing from the web site.

Quick and easy to use

Good programs but can easily operate by individualization of the operation. Looks nice on the cabinet, easy to clean and many appliances i one. It just has such a high price.

Great Machine, but All Clad needs To catch up on accessories like European TEFAL, moulinex and Krups

I am very happy with the machine, the recipe book is annoying. It is in black with small print, and pages cut into thirds, so you can’t prop it up. You have to go online to Europe to find accessories, like big steamer and processing blades. You need to find AUstralian, English or German utubesor bloggers with their TEFAL, Krupp or moulinex versions. All clad needs to catchup on utube videos and a couple chefs to use this machine more.

At last - a kitchen robot designed by cooks!

I'm a gadget-freak, admittedly. I passed-over the Thermomix as too expensive, but bought the Bellini Kitchen Master. I found it interesting, but not very user-friendly. I upgraded to the All Clad Prep&Cook, and I can honestly say that it is remarkable. First of all, it was designed by All Clad's parent company - Moulinex - in France, where food is a passion and people know how to cook. Second, despite its control panel of multiple "automatic" settings, and a cache of different blades, it's amazingly straightforward to use and tweaking any recipe is easy. Third, it's very easy to assemble, clean (nearly everything is dishwasher-safe), and actually looks good on the counter. The only drawback is the cookbook - whose idea was it to use small red print on black paper?? Luckily, you quickly realize that although it ships with 300 recipes (many of them good), this is like a Food Processor or Mixer or any other kitchen tool - it can be adapted for your recipes, not just the ones it comes with. We made a Palestinian rocket soup in it last weekend, easily adapting a recipe to be made, now automatically. Our guests were amazed - a velvety creamy soup made without a stove or blender, and in a single step. I've done a risotto in it and can honestly say it was as good as what I was recently served in a very nice Italian restaurant - yet all I did was add the ingredients, push the button and walk away. It's expensive, but like most things All-Clad, well worth the money.
