I bought this necklace to go with the Effy Amorè ring and earrings so I'd have a complete set of ruby jewelry. No I'm not rich, or a spend thrift, but tend to be an under buyer. So that tells you what a beautiful necklace this is. Originally I only planned to buy the earrings, but the Macy's sales and Deals of the Day promotions, make their jewelry affordable, items that average working people can save up for and buy. Although I'd have liked the necklace in rose gold to match the other 2 pieces in "the set," the yellow gold is warm like the rose gold, so it still matches. The rubies are a rich red color surrounded by sparkly diamonds. The gold feels heavy enough, and the 11 rubies a decent size. There are tiny stars of gold in the design, which is lovely. Although I don't buy tons of jewelry, I brownse enough to know that the price is as low as customers will ever pay. The cost for similar articles of jewelry is always much higher elsewhere. This is a classic, yet modern piece.

Ravishing Rubies and Delightful Diamonds
This glamorous and elegant diamond and ruby necklace is a real show-stopper. So happy that Macy's asked Effy to create a necklace using certified rubies, so that I have confidence in the gemstones. The carat weight of the gemstones is quite impressive, and the necklace sits comfortably on the neckline. This was a special holiday gift to myself, so that I can always remember the year everybody stayed home! I will wear this necklace forever, and then pass it down to future generations. This is truly a gorgeous legacy piece.
