Beautiful top

I ordered this top for a wedding but became ill and was unable to attend. I was going to wear it to a more recent party and opened the package and it smells like it has mildew. I was planning to request a return but it is outside of the return period by 1 day. My fault. However, this is the second time I have ordered something from Macy's and it had a smell. The other time the item smelled like it was doused in bad perfume. Advice: open all your packages right away. Normally good health lets me do that but not this time.
