Misleading demascus steel

These are good knives. However, if you are looking for Damascus steel knives, avoid these knives. They are demascus "plated" but I find that even hard to believe. They look as though they have a printed image of demascus over the steel, which is extremely disappointing and make them look cheaper. As far as sharpness, they could be sharper out of the box. My old cheaper knives were sharper. Overall these are a decent set of knives, they feel good in your hand and they look nice on the counter. They are 8/10 sharp.

Excellent Set

I purchased this several months ago, looking for a high quality blade and knife built to last. I am not disappointed with this set! These knives are very sharp, cutting through meats and vegetables with great ease, even allowing for some very thin cuts for my stir fried veggies. Excellent solid construction, heft, and easy cleaning. A high quality set well worth the price.

Must Have Knife Set

I just moved in to a new place with an amazing kitchen, so I decided to treat myself to this Damascus knife set and it didn't disappoint! Excellently shaped for all of your cooking preparation needs. They perfectly cut through anything and stay sharp. The weight and the grip of the knives feels great in my hands and cutting up ingredients is effortless. I would highly recommend this knife set from Anolon!
