Best ""Go To"" Pan

This is my 'go to"" pan for one skillet dinners! Not only can it withstand high heat on the stove and in the oven - it cleans up easily and beautifully.

Great cast iron skillet

I use this cast iron skillet every time I make steak. I sear the steak on both faces and the finish in the oven. It is coated with enamel on both the interior and the exterior so it makes cleaning and maintaining very easy. The helper handle is very useful when moving the pan while hot. Remember to wear potholders always with cast iron cookware!

My gorgeous "go-to" kitchen skillet since I got it!

One year ago, I got my first Anolon piece of cookware. First of all, it is gorgeous! The blue cobalt enamel finish exterior makes it not only a "showpiece" but this 12" skillet has earned a "go-to" status in my hard working kitchen and recipe website. The consistent and even heat this skillet provides is extraordinary. Initially, I tested this skillet to make one of my personal favorite recipes, One Pan Gorgonzola Leek Stuffed Chicken which is great for entertaining. The interior of this skillet is magical, it is non-stick, yet browns ingredients like I have never seen a "non-stick" pan be able to do as well. By the way, cleanup is a breeze. And to be able to finish the chicken in one pan is a wonderful thing, the chicken came out perfectly moist and kept the dish nice and warm for our company. Analon, you have a winner here, and I think the price point is incredible considering the quality and lifetime warranty. Now I need to get one in red!
