Beautiful but temperamental.
Very temperamental and a challenge to set up, takes a long time to wake up, drops the HDMI signal easily and repeatedly, needs a very specific HDMI cable or will drop the signal, dynamic dimming is a disaster turn it off. Took me 2 weeks to get properly set up and working stable, but once you get it there, it's beautiful and seems to be a good photo accurate monitor.

Sublime design
I love this monitor the design and craftmanship. The color calibration and the sophisticated controls are awesome. This is the workhorse I needed in my new studio upgrade.

It does bring quite a good help.
No monitor is perfect but this one is plenty good. Whatever weakness it has can be worked around beautifully, using the right preset. And it's strength is herculean. I chose this over any OLED even a grand pricier. This Asus has real contrast with its deep darks and blinding whites. The lack for Dolby Vision could matter only for professional who has that license.

Calibration device useless because software crashes. ASUS support said to try an old version of Mac calVibration tool but provided no way to obtain it

Excellent graphics monitor
I was looking for a monitor with critical color accuracy (Adobe RGB, sRGB) and am completely happy with this, my second Asus monitor. I have found them to have excellent color and performance for a very reasonable price. I use it every day for creating color accurate graphic design, and it has been very reliable.

Excellent graphics monitor, reasonable price
The picture is huge, gorgeous and with accurate and rich color. I bought my unit as an open box, and have not yet been able to get the calibrator to work. I don't know yet if it's a software or hardware problem. The monitor inherently has excellent color, and I'm really happy with 99% Adobe RGB. So overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. I just hope I can figure out the calibrator.

Beautiful, but annoying controls.
I will say that this display is beautiful! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is due to the rocker switch to adjust the settings. I need to be able to switch display settings frequently, and the switch is both annoying to reach and I figure it will wear out from using it constantly. For what this costs, I think it should have some type of software or other way to change display settings other than an old-school rocker switch.

My perfect PC monitor.
This size's screen is perfect on the eyes with little efforts for readings, & it displays considerable clarity along with near perfect color rendition.
