Web ID: 15191487Easy straight out of the box
Easy to assemble stand with basic instructions in the box. Came with choice of connecting cables although there was no indication of which ones where best to use so I opted for HDMI to the processed as it didn’t have a Display Port connection. Nice actual buttons on the front for settings although other than setting eco power mode I havn’t so far felt the need to adjust as the colours are great. Stand is really solid and has plenty of adjustment to get the screen centre of my eye line. Sound very poor but as I already have a plug in speaker, and I mainly use it for photo editing, this wasn’t a problem. So far very impressed.

Great monitor, needs better refresh rate
Beautify colors, lots of port options, adjustable stand, think bezels, 1920x1200 is much better than 1080P for productivity. The refresh rate is only 75Hz which is a bit disappointing. Would be perfect if it had 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate, then it would have been the perfect 5 stars monitor.

Annoying feature
I dont like the way the dialog box about low/high power mode shows up at startup and takes a while to go away. Also the choice of password or pin takes multiple clicks and half a minute or so to open, very annoying

Excellent Value Product
As a photographer, I have two PCs: one for processing with an Eizo professional monitor and a second with one 2560x1440 landscape main display and two 1200x1920 portrait displays. I have now been using one ProArt PA278QV in landscape mode and two ProArt PA248QVs in portrait mode for a month and I am generally delighted with them. I calibrated them with i1Profiler and, using the monitors’ SRGB setting, they are almost prefect “out of the box”. More importantly for me, all three monitors render images almost identically. At this price point, both monitor types are excellent value for money. I hope Asus and others continue to produce 1200x1920 displays, as this resolution is ideal for viewing standard camera images in portrait mode, as they fill the display with minimal margins. One minor issue is the built-in power-save mode, which cannot be disabled. I am all for saving power, but after it has activated, Windows has a habit of moving all open windows to the bottom left corner of the display: I cannot work-out if this is a Windows problem but it did not happen with my previous Dell displays. Also, whilst Asus are advertising a free 5-year warranty extension, it is apparently impossible to register for it, as you need a VIP Club membership number and password, which appears impossible to obtain.

Versatile monitors with beautiful color
I purchased two of these monitors. I love that I can use them either in portrait or landscape mode. There is little to no glare and the colors and the text are amazingly sharp. These are versatile monitors and a great value.

ProArt Display PA248QV
The monitor is fantastic, but it would have been been better if instructions were included and I didn/t have to go online to get them. You would have recieved a five-star review.
