Love the desk but.......

I've been looking at this desk for a while and finally decided to purchase it. No problem with delivery and it was easy to put together and looks just as it does in the picture. I couldn't put it together right away because I had surgery and have a lifting weight restriction. My only issue is when I turned one of the drawers to the under-side, there was a label with the California's Proposition 65 warning. This product contains materials that could cause cancer!!!! I am upset because I was being treated for cancer and there's a product in my home that can cause it too!!! It says it contains formaldehyde and another substance I cannot think of at the moment. I feel that Macy's should have placed this warning on their website. I understand this was a direct ship from the manufacturer however it is Macy's responsibility to ensure the consumer is informed of what they are purchasing on their website! I live in Michigan so if there's a potential hazard for California residents, it is a potential hazard everywhere.....right! I will be contacting customer service to complain about this as well. There were no product reviews at the time of my purchase so I decided I would write this to caution people about this warning.
