Upgraded Gift

I wasn’t going to write a review. However, when I asked my husband what he thought about his new essential 22” carry-on expandable spinner he received for Christmas, the list of things he liked more than his older carry-on was surprisingly long. He loved the spin component, he liked how one of the zip pouches was sectioned off into 2 smaller areas rather than just 1 larger one. He loved how sturdy the sides were. Normally, if he pressed on the edges of his old bag, they would collapse. He was delighted how sturdy the sides maintained themselves even under a little pressure. My husband is a creature of habit so I was not sure how much he would adapt to this bag. His other Briggs & Riley was not a spinner, which left me unable to really help schlepp his bag for him at times. Now, that he is up to date, he is really loving the functionality of the spinner. Go figure. Rather than having his initials personalized onto his bag, I had the airplane he flies personalized. His very own A350 spinner :-)

Excellent carry-on roller bag

I bought this for a holiday trip after a recommendation from my brother. I typically overpack and have trouble fitting what I pack into the bag. This 22' expandible spinner bag was amazing. The compression allowed me to pack what I wanted to bring and still get the bag to the allowable width. I love it!

The perfect carry on

This is my second Briggs and Riley carry on…this one is for my wife. I was tired of her always stealing bag so I had to get her one for her own. It’s perfect. The roll is smooth while going from the airports to the streets of Cartegena. Construction is very solid. The packing system works great. This is really built to last. It looks fantastic too!

Amazing bag

First trip with the new bag, absolutely loved it. I packed ten days' worth of tropical clothing into it -- and for me that means a different silk camp shirt every day -- along with shorts, underwear, trunks, and a few pairs of socks, plus some long pants for a couple evenings. My wife didn't think it would all fit, as I had expanded it fully. But an easy compress and it all fit snugly! My passport and phone were easily stowed in the front pouch, I had a power pack in the handle pouch, and I think I had a few other items stowed inside as well. I bought this bag to complement my existing personal bag (not B&R but comparable), and was not disappointed. I specifically wanted to be able to pack a suit if needed (but not for this trip), and I am confident that this bag will work wonderfully for that purpose when the time comes. It's an excellent bag, with a high quality look and feel. I'm very happy with my purchase (and the trip was amazing, too).

Superior quality ,built like a tank! On the heavier side but well worth it for the durability. The compression system works really well and you feel like royalty wheeling this through the airport.

22” & xl essential

Bought 2 pieces, the CLEssential was on sale the 22” was not. For some reason only the 22” was monogrammed. I guess things on sale don’t come monogrammed. Wouldn’t expect this from a company like Briggs and Riley, disappointed.

Essential 22" Carry-on Expandable.

Love this new Essential 22" Carry-on. The compression functionality is a game-changer! Everything is well-made, and it fits in the overhead bins on most of my flights. I love the garment section. Easily add blazers and dresses without risking wrinkles.
