Poor design choices

This dress is simple unflattering. The mid-section makes me look wide and I have a belly. I don’t have a belly I have a flat stomach. I can’t imagine with someone with a belly would look like if it’s doing this to me. The material is night and weightless but the design is very poor. Too many stitching lines in the stomach area plush the scrunched look..it’s a mess. I don’t recommend this dress.

I received this free for review. This BCBG dress is an embellished mock-neck satin shift dress. It has an all over geometric print with an asymmetrical ruffle hem. This is ideal for dinner dates, cocktail parties, and evening events. I find it fits true to size. The style is supposed to fit a little loose. The fabric is soft and flowy, but doesn't stretch. It zips up the back with a hook on top. This is more for fancier events but can be dressed down nicely. One thing I noticed was that a prong from the stones ended up snagging a thread and pulled it loose. Other than that, it comes down to whether or not it matches personal style.

Not my favorite.

The dress itself is a little stiff. It doesn't wear well. I don't care for the fabric and it's too short. I'd recommend making it longer and short sleeved.

Love it!

I am really impressed with this dress. I love the geometric pattern printed on it. It has a rhinestone-embellished collar. It is pleated in the front. It is gathered at the waist, making the dress look more interesting and modern. It fits well, and the fabric feels soft. This dress will make an impression every time you wear it.

Not all that impressed

This dress is just okay. I expected more from BCBG. Nice feeling material and fits nicely with a bit of poof in the shoulders. Not a fan of the side bow area because of how the fabric lays exposing the backside of the fabric. I would also much rather wear my own jewelry to wear than what is attached to the dress
