Wide width ankle booties?

Just received these beautiful ankle booties; not worn yet, but tried on with thin socks. I love the Carmel color, the texture and the comfortable square toe. The block heel provides style and walking security. However, I can’t give 5 stars as the bootie is not really that wide. I ordered the WW width and so glad I did! I can fit into them; yet they feel slightly tight. To be fair, I live in Florida and rarely wear a closed shoe! My feet have gotten quite comfortable being unrestrained! Going north this fall, I needed a fashionable bootie. This fits the bill, unless I am doing a lot of walking, then athletic shoes are my choice, for sure.

Beautiful boot, BUT the ankle opening is small

I was so excited to find a high quality boot made from real leather in an extra wide width, and was so happy as I slipped in on and it fit perfectly! However, the ankle of the boot (the opening) was too tight and I could not get them zippered to the top. I understand that might be a problem unique to me, but it almost seemed like a design flaw and was so narrow compared to the proportions of the rest of the boot. If you have thin ankles these might work for you, but I had to send them back.
