It worked fine for a few months. Nice heat, it did what I needed it to do. We had 2 power outages in the past 2 weeks, 3 days each time, now the controller just displays an error code. I always use a power strip because I don't have enough outlets near my bed in my house, it's a newer smart power strip rated for up to 1500 watts. I only have the mattress warmer a couple of led lamps, chargers for my phone and tablet and a warmer plugged into it, nothing high powered at all, so it's not like there was a microwave running on the same strip or anything like that! I've tried unplugging the controller, plugging it directly into the wall, resetting it by pressing the power button while plugging it in, nothing works. Everything else still works, just the controller for my mattress pad has failed. It's past the time for a return, so I'm trying to locate a replacement controller so I don't have to buy a whole new mattress warmer. I wouldn't buy this one again for sure!

Pad is just ok!
The mattress pad is ok, but disappointed with what little heat it puts out. I put it on the highest setting which only takes the chill off. I am elderly, and very thin, so I need lots of heat to be more comfortable. For the life of me, I haven't been able to find a heated mattress pad or heating blanket that is good enough for my needs. I understand it's for safety reasons why they don't make the pads to get too warm, but being just tepid isn't good enough for me!
Remarkable mattress pad.
I just recently learned that there are heated mattress pads. I did my due diligence and went through reviews from different ones. One thing that I noticed, were complaints about the wires being uncomfortable. No such grievances about this one. It is wonderful! My bedroom is unheated, I turn this on for a few minutes before retiring, and it is toasty when I get into bed. I live in the Northeast, so this is a remarkable feat.
